About the School

James Lane Allen Elementary is an integral part of Lexington's diverse community. We strive to make sure that all students are given the opportunity to achieve at high levels and have the necessary support through a variety of state and local grants.

JLA strives to be a positive community member, working with local churches and community groups, to help meet the school's needs. Our PTA also works closely with the faculty and staff to help provide different opportunities and experiences for our students.

Our stakeholders -- famlies, students, staff, community members -- make JLA a great place to be!
