If Fayette County Public Schools closes due to weather during the 2025-26 school year, Nontraditional Instruction (NTI) days may be used.
Please keep the four-day district-provided NTI packet in your JLA take-home folder. Only complete assignments when a NTI day is officially announced. We will specify which day to complete (Day 1, 2, 3, or 4) in our announcement.
To prioritize skill reinforcement in reading, writing, and math, we are using paper packets rather than sending home Chromebooks this year in elementary school. Online choice boards are also available for special areas.
NTI Days 1-4
To earn attendance credit, students must return their district-provided completed NTI assignments to their teacher within three days of returning to school.
On NTI days, teachers will host office hours from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. via Google Meet. The Google Meet link will be sent via Parent Square. Since elementary students are not required to use technology, district Chromebooks will be kept at school.
